Measurement & Verification (M&V) of energy savings is becoming more and more important.  Any DSM project (including Standard Offer projects) requires M&V.  

The proposed legislation allowing a tax incentive for companies who can demonstrate energy savings will require M&V by accredited bodies.

Energy Cybernetics has well over 100 man-years experience developing and maintaining M&V baselines. We are represented on the Technical Committee of the IPMVP (International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol) and were instrumental in developing the Internationally acclaimed Eskom M&V procedure used to evaluate DSM projects.

 Energy Efficiency Compliance Certificate

Electricity consumers applying for new connections (of 1MVA or more) as well as consumers with existing connections who want to apply for extensions (1 MVA or more) are required to submit Energy Efficiency Compliance Certificates (EECC).
